Sterling Silver Lever Back Extended Triangle Hole

These new sterling silver lever backs have a large triangle shape opening that can be soft or hard soldered closed. These lever backs are heavy and well made so they won't bend and break like so many new lever backs that have become lighter and lighter. These lever backs have set rivets-that means that it is not recommend for hard (flame with torch) soldering unless you remove the rivet and re-assemble after soldering (if you soft solder (no flame) or use a laser welder or a PUK welding machine you can safely close the bond without disassembly). Lever backs require a bit of lubrication to work properly. Be sure to place the tiny bit of oil on the moving parts during use, and especially after cleaning in an ultrasonic.
